DeSE’09 (Development in E-Systems Engineering) is the second in this international conference series.
The first conference (DeSE’08) was held in Liverpool in 2008 both physically and virtually within the virtual world “Second Life”. The DeSE’09 conference is taking place in the Millennium Hotel - Abu Dhabi on 14-16th December 2009.

DeSE’09 has captured diverse e-systems engineering research contributions, in particular in the areas of e-health, e-government, e-learning, e-security, and e-science and technology with over a hundred paper submissions.
It is envisaged that the DeSE conference series will continue to expand to include additional and relevant future research and development challenges in e-systems engineering related to currently emerging topics of interest such as nanotechnology, e-crime, and green computing.
Al Khawarizmi International College is the main local organizer and one of the main sponsors for the DeSE’09 Conference. KIC Staff will actively participate in the conference by chairing some the technical sessions, and present academic papers. The opening session of the conference will be addressed by Mr. Naeem Radi – CEO on 14th December 2009.
